The purpose of this communication is to inform school systems of the start of the 10-business day window to review the local educational agency (LEA) confidential (unmasked)Ìý2023 Results Driven Accountability (RDA)Ìýdistrict report, data download, and significant disproportionality (SD) indicators report, which are now available through the Accountability application on the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Login (TEAL) website. These reports are confidential and must be handled as such.ÌýÌý
LEAs have 10 business days to review the reports and contact the performance-based monitoring (PBM) team at the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ (TEA) with questions or concerns as described in the RDA chapter of theÌý2023 Accountability Manual, at the phone number or email address listed below.ÌýDue to the Thanksgiving break occurring during this window, the 2023 review window will close on December 6, 2023, at 11:59 p.m.Ìý
RDA Confidential and Public Reports
There are important distinctions between the confidential district RDA reports posted today and the final (public) district RDA reports that will be published in January 2024.Ìý
The confidential district RDA reports in TEAL contain unmasked confidential data pertaining to each of the RDA indicators and related SD analyses. These reports will include LEAs’ assigned performance levels (PLs) for the RDA indicators but will not yet include the final determination levels (DLs). The final district RDA reports, which include DLs for the three RDA program areas – bilingual education/English as a second language (EB/ESL), other special populations (OSP), and special education (SPED) – will be published on theÌýÌýwebpage in January 2024. Final RDA reports are masked using certain symbols to protect student confidentiality and comply with the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).ÌýTo the Administrator Addressed (TAA)Ìýcorrespondence will be published once those reports are posted, and the Office of Special Populations and Monitoring will communicate any required actions for LEAs at that time. LEAs can find resources about required actions resulting from RDA determinations and SD findings on theÌýRDA webpage.Ìý
Additionally, this year, the confidential RDA data available in TEAL will include PLs assigned to the federally required elements (FREs). However, data for assigning FRE PLs have already been finalized and are not subject to the 10-day review window referenced in this communication. Accessing the TEAL Accountability Application

LaunchingÌýACCT – AccountabilityÌýwill take you into the site. You can access your district’s 2023 RDA report by clicking on theÌýPerformance-Based MonitoringÌýtab.Ìý
If you do not have a TEAL username and password, or if you do not have access to the Accountability application on TEAL, follow the TEAL request process on theÌý. Additionally, theÌýÌýsite also contains links that can guide you through the process to follow if you have forgotten, or wish to reset, your TEAL password.Ìý
