Overview
The Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ uses an annual survey to collect information on collisions involving school buses operated or contracted for use by school districts and charter schools. The purpose of this To the Administrator Addressed (TAA) correspondence is to announce the deadline extension of the .
SY2023-2024 Bus Collision Reporting
In accordance with , school districts must report collisions in which district buses are involved to TEA on an annual basis. In responding to the survey, school systems must provide the following information for each collision:Ìý
- Type of bus involvedÌý
- Number of students and adults involved in the collisionÌý
- Number and types of injuries that were sustained by bus passengersÌý
- Whether injured passengers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident and, if so, the type
The originally due on July 31, 2024, has been extended to August 30, 2024.
