The purpose of this letter is to inform local educational agencies (LEAs) that new fund codes will be added to the Texas Education Data Standards (TEDS) PEIMS Fund Codes, code table (C145), as stated below. Also, the Financial Accountability System Resource Guide (FASRG) will be updated in the guide’s next adoption to include the new fund codes.Ìý
- Fund code 266 was added to the 2020-2021 TEDS PEIMS Fund Codes, code table (C145), effective with the 2020-2021 actual financial data submission and the 2020-2021 staff payroll data submission.Ìý
- Fund code 277 will be added to the 2020-2021 TEDS PEIMS Fund Codes, code table (C145), effective with the 2020-2021 budget financial data submission and the 2021-2022 actual financial data submission.Ìý

The addition of these new codes will be used to account for all financial transactions to identify the fund group, specific fund, and permissible use of the funds.Ìý
The affected data is in the 30060 PayrollExtension, which is included in the PEIMS Fall Submission, and the 20032 Actual Extension, which is included in the PEIMS Midyear Submission.Ìý
