Virtual or Hybrid Program Application
LEAs seeking to operate an SB 15 compliant virtual or hybrid school may apply for a one-year CDCN for the upcoming school year. Under current law, the CDCN will be in effect for one full school year only. In the event that the law is not amended to provide ADA for remote instruction after SB 15 expires, LEAs will be required to return their virtual or hybrid school CDCNs to the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ.
The application is intended to ensure that LEAs are offering an SB 15-compliant program with high-quality virtual or hybrid instruction in place.
At this time, LEAs may apply for a CDCN for three different campus types. They may apply for a K-12th CDCN, a K-8th CDCN, or a 9th -12th CDCN.
The application will be released and posted on theÌýRemote Learning webpageÌýon March 24, 2022.
Please noteÌýthat charter schools will need to complete an application, and if approved, will request a CDCN through the Charters School Division at the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ.
