Foster Care & Student Success, housed in the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s Highly Mobile and At-Risk Unit in the Office of Special Populations & Student Supports, maintains resources and information to advance the education of students impacted by foster care. The resources and materials provide guidance related to the unique circumstances surrounding students who are in the foster care system and attend Texas public schools.

The purpose of the foster care and education webinars are to provide updates and best practices to support students in foster care.Â
State Office Hours
The purpose of foster care office hours is to provide the state with an opportunity to have a conversation about support for students in foster care. Topics of discussion will center on questions, concerns, scenarios, and effective practices to support the learning of students in foster care. Please register on the links below.Â
